SURFACE FINISHING
After the cleaning, preparation and protection of the component, if applicable, we end up with a finish coat that gives the surface its final appearance.
Grupo Genérica offers different types of surface finishing such as liquid paint andpowder coating (thermo-lacquering).
Within these two types of surface finishings, we offer a wide variety of colours, textures and finish coats.
It is a treatment where the liquid paint is sprayed onto the component. The composition of the painting depends on the surface finishing and the qualities that are intended to be achieved. The component must have been previously prepared to ensure a proper finish.
The surface finishing and colour possibilities of this treatment are almost unlimited. From Corten steel imitation, forging effect paints to luminescent paintings, wood effect, etc.
Thermo-lacquering consists of projecting powder coating over the prepared component. This painting is blended with air and electrically charged, so it adheres to the base component, which is properly grounded. Subsequently, the component is conducted to the furnace, where it is then cured at a specific temperature and time for a correct lacquered finish.
The result is a uniform, high-quality, attractive and durable coating adhered to the surface, reducing also the working and drying times after the treatment.
